Toolbar Component

HI all,

Can someone tell me how to uninstall a toolbar component manualy
I installed DXperience 8.2.2. Ever since then VS crashed everytime I open a
project or try to expand the toolbar. I uninstalled DX 8.2.2, but it could
not remove the toolbar. Now I cant get to the toolbar to uninstall DX 8.2
items, because it crashes everytime I try.

I'd start by going through the registry (make a backup, first!)

Do a search for the word "DXperience " and delete everything that uses it.

Reboot.

When Windows comes back up, go to Add/Remove Programs, find Visual Studio,
and select "Repair." It will take a long time (maybe 4 hours), but it should
fix your problem.

Write this one up as a lesson learned. In the future, don't install
something unless you really trust it.
