Is there supposed to be no c# or VB language choices for website projects
using .net 3.5? or did my install somehow get messed up?

When I go to file>new>websit e... and choose target platform of .net 3.5, the
languages combo box doesn't have c# in it. All it has is managed J script or
iron python.
