My html Table won't work in frame. I used parent.main.document.write

I wanted to have html table in the main frame which shows all of the table but now it ignores me when I click. It worked fine in the top frame. Any ideas? I forgot that javascript code about reading the cell that was clicked otherwise I would use that and send the results to a hidden field.
