Imagemap display in asp.net

Hi,

I have building image with seating positions, I have to show selected location in image on button click. example If user select seat num 120 I have to locate seat num 120 and highlight the seat num. Image is very big 2000x1500 size so I have to show the image with selected position like in google if we search the map shows exact location.

Please let me know how to achive this.

I've never done anything like what you're doing myself but I have read about it in a few places.

Check out Sprites (CSS Sprites)
You should be able to display a sprite of an "occupied seat" over top of your base image to indicate that the seat is full.

If you are using HTML5, you could consider drawing occupied seats over top of your image using the canvas control.
