Standalone report working . as sub report not working

Hi,

I insert report say r1 as subreport in main report. it is not displaying.even column headers also not displaying. if i run the report r1 alone it is working fine.

I inserted another report r2 in main report. it is working. but for this r1 it is not working. Can u pls let me know what could be the problem ?
