Thread was being aborted

getting an exception Thread was being aborted while a web method is called and which takes a longer duration to execute the process.

We are consuming an ASP.Net web service to generate a PDF document.

FYI: We have increased the executionTimeOu t in web.config file.

Increasing executionTimeOu t helps only if the error happening rarely(at peak time).
If its a permenant error. you need to check whether you have missed any dependencies while deploying the application. Also check the webconfig file for worngly assigned values.
