i am new to asp.net. so far i create a simple sql database using vs2008 express web developer, saved it as a .bak file, uploaded the .bak file to the proper folder in 1and1.
now, in plain english, how do i commect to the database? is there a model or sample or help with the code? 1and1 offers a sample code to connect using asp script, but does not say what type of file to use, webconfig, or aspx etc. So i am hoping someone can walk me through the steps needed to write the script to connect to the database. thus far i put the code into a html file, but all that shows is the title.
