I am trying to correctly build a VS 2008 Web Setup Project ASP.NET MVC web site .MSI installation file. After building the .MSI file, I use it to install my web site manually in my test server running under Win XP and IIS 5. It installs fine the DLLs as expected. My test server runs in a different than my development computer.
When I try to run my web site using the URL: http://My tests server/Deployment folder/Home.aspx/Index, the Index page cannot open.
When I use VS "Publish" service, my site deploys fine and runs OK in the test server using the same URL.
Probably I have to define a correct URL or make some settings in the test server IIS.
Please advice how to solve this problem.
