Here are a couple of resources that I use when working with regular expressions:
Please take the time to research and attempt the problem you are working before you post your question.

Ruchichir,
Tlhintoq was not "underestimatin g" you. He was simply stating that you need to actually ask a question and show us what you've tried so far.
"I want xxx." Is not a question.
"How do I accomplish xxx?" Is a question.
You also may receive a response as Tlhintoq has posted because you haven't shown us any effort towards trying to solve the problem for yourself.
It is best, whenever asking a question on any forum (not just bytes), to format your question something like:
"I am having problems with xxx. I have tried yyy. How do I accomplish xxyy? Do you have any advise on the issue? Thank you for your time."
When we see what you've tried so far to solve the problem it shows us that you are actually putting an effort into solving the problem. This will be reciprocated with an effort to help you with your problem. If you don't show us what you have tried then it's unlikely that people are going to put an effort into helping you because it would mean that they would have to put more of an effort into solving your problem than you have yourself!
Also, by showing us what you have tried so far we can help you correct any errors that you are currently facing without trying to guess at: what you know, what you've tried, what you've done, what the errors are... etc.
Please post any regular expression that you have tried so far to solve the problem and we will be happy to help you from there.
And please check out those links because they are very resourceful.

Please post the code that came the closest for you and we will see if can help you clean it up. It's much easier to help someone that posts there code. That way we aren't trying to tech them *how* something works, just help them find their minor errors.Originally posted by ruchichirWe already tried it too much & only then we posted itComment
