    how to disable functionality of refresh (logo or button) in browser
    pls don't answer for F5 as I have done that
    I need this for our intranet website

      You want to disable that function in some other brand of browser, now one you wrote yourself? You want to disable refresh in Opera, Chrome, Safari, I.E.?

      The short answer is: You don't. You don't really have a way to just kill features in other programs.

      You might try just making your own limited browser for use within the company, and have it be the only authorized browser. Its easy enough to keep the others from being launched.

          Since, as Tlhintoq has stated, you cannot (and should not) disable the refresh capability of a browser...you should consider another solution.

          If you explain why you are trying to disable the refresh button then maybe we can help you find this alternate solution.
