    asp.net and telephony

    Hi all,

    we use a web based in house written CRM system, written by me, it is asp.net written in vb.net, never have gotten around to learning c#.net :-)

    It works well and I add to it as we go along. We have developed a strong need for our call centre, who use it all day every day, to make outbound calls using scripts and to be monitored re numbers of calls, call lengths, outcomes, call recording etc, etc.

    I know that our phone system can handle much of this but I want to leverage the phone system and our CRM system together and deliver a fully joined up system.

    So... Where do I start to achieve stuff like the following:

    User views a contact on CRM and clicks the make call button.
    Phone rings and pops up the contact.
    Recording a call against a specific contact/script... I'm just interested in how to handle the recording of a call.
    Display option path that caller has choosen

    etc,etc

    What I need is a start point.
