    .net and SEO keyword problem

    Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding my .net pages and the keywords.

I have been tracking my site and the keywords that are getting recognized are not what I am placing in my .net pages

It appears that google is ignoring my kewords and is picking keywords off the page content. however, they are meaningless words that mean nothing at all.

It is picking up on words like "and" or "the"

I am trying to get the keywords that google crawls to match the content of of my site. any suggestions?

    here is a link:

    Keywords

A little bit googling may help you in this regard. There are few good sites where you can submit your site and it will tell you, after analyzing, whether the keywords and content are relevant to your page or not.
Actually you have to put those relevant words (it's better if those words physically should appear in your page) in the header section, mentioning keywords="here goes the list of words", content="here goes the list of words".

From my experience of hosting a site(I ran it in PHP), I should have added one more thing regarding keywords in ASP.NET pages.
Actually a server sends HTML text to a client. Google or a browser or anything else for that matter, couldn’t care less how that text is generated so PHP, ASP, NET etc should make no difference to SEO. From this aspect I found, texts that match in HTML body and header content or description always have good chance to crawled by google or other search engine spiders.

              Upgrade ;)

I haven't been able to check out the tool yet either. Hopefully will get around to it soon though :)
