UpdatePanel stops.......

Hi friends,
I am having a page which hits the server and performs some complex tasks, which takes even 15 - 20 mins. I have an updatepanel in my page. The updateprogress stays in the page for 60 seconds only. After that it stops. But the task was still happening in the server. But no progress in the UI. Can any one help me in this.

15 - 20 minutes is a very long time for a browser to be waiting!

You can set the ScriptManager's AsyncPostBackTi meout property to 20 minutes (this property expects the value to be in seconds... so set to property to 20*60 seconds).

I'm not entirely sure that this is going to work (it's a long time to be waiting)....als o please remember that by default session times out at 20minutes.
