wmf clipart doesn't show in aspx pages

I have some clipart (wmf files) I want to show online. When I put a
resizable wmf file online and told the image control to size it down, I
ended up with no image. Whats the problem?

the image control just renders an <imghtml element. browser do not
support wmf files. you will need to find a plugin that does, then put
the correct object tag in the page. you shoudl supply a link for people
    to install the plugin.

your other option, is to write an aspx page that read the wmf file and
rendered it as a jpeg or gif. then the img controls url would be this
page. google this group for examples of dynamic images.

Then how do you explain www.office.microsoft.com being able to show
thumbnails of wmf files to any browser? There must be a program that will
let you convert wmf files to gif or jpg?
