    datatable query

    hi,
    I've a requireemnt ..in which my query will pull all the data from the
    database table..and binds to a grid based on some calculations... ..
    the count of records wil be around 700000 records....
    can I store this data in datatable..and bind to the grid..

    what effect will it have on the performance of the page...
    can someone sayy if it's optimal way ???

      The general idea is to load always the strict minimum you need i.e. if the
      user has an option for filtering those rows it's likely best to offer them
      this opportunity *before* fetching such a high number of records...

      How the user will handle all those records ?

          actually, I need to pull the data and then query the data and then show teh
          results..
          and I Cant use sql for pulling the data.and query teh same..
          hence ..wanted to know how feasible it would be to get the entire data
          and query at run time..
