Multiple Format types in one Details View

I'd like to write a select statment to set different format types
depending on a value in another field


for example
dim DisplayString as string


Select Case [Measure]

Case 'Panel'
DisplayFormatSt ring = '{0,whole integer} 'not sure of the proper syntax

Case 'AveAge'
DisplayFormatSt ring = '{0, percentage}

Case 'StartDate'
DisplayFormatSt ring = '{0, mmm-yyyy}'

end select

is this possible? - Do I use the sort expression ?
