I have installed apache-tomcat-5.5.30 in vista.
Tomcat is successfully installed(http://localhost:8080/index.jsp is giving result perfectly).
But when i simply create a new project(say Hello-v1) in webapps dir and put a simple html file (form.html) and run
http://localhost:8080/Hello-v1/form.html in web browser ,i get HTTP status 404 "The requested resource () is not available.".
Whereas if i put same html file in ROOT dir it runs the html.
Can anyone help me why this is happening as i am following all the instructions written in book "Head Frist Servlets and JSP".What else i need to do to make it run.
