Wamp server is not running properly showing None of the 2server runing

Dear All,

I am facing a problem with WAMP server. i dowonload the WAMP SERVER2.0c and installed in my system. But the problem is that none of the server is running. When i try to access the server by http://localhost, the page cannot display is getting. When I try the same in my own pc its working properly.

It seems that the problem is due antivirus which is installed in the system. The system is having McAfree antivirus.
OS: Window XP

Kindly provide me the solution so that I can used the wamp server.

Hi.

You could always... disable the anti-virus software.
It could also simply be a matter of configuring said anti-virus software to allow your application through on port 80 (I assume).

And seeing as you are running Windows, you might also want to check out the Windows firewall. It has been known to block such things as HTTP servers.

You have to install apache server and my sql sepratly. You can download latest version from http://www.wampserver.com/en/ Optionally add as much Apache, PHP and MySQL releases as you want. because I already sufer from this problem

McAfee does this to me too. I cannot start MySQL if McAfee is running.

It's strange because, I've never installed McAfee and a look over my computer shows no sign of McAfee.

Man I hate software that isn't straight-up with you.
