define week 36 instead of 52

Hi guys,

my department is using different Date system. If i give an example

"yyyyXX" these "yyyy" symbolized Years and XX weeks. but weeks are going max 36

what do i need :

normally : 2014/51, 2014/52, 2015/01 etc.

but with our system 2014/35, 2014/36 and 2015/01... its continue

i need to find difference these 2 numbers :
For example: 201436 - 201501 = 01

the question is : How can i define and chance these system according to my desire ?

Are you saying that you want it to only have 36 weeks, or that the problem is that you are only getting 36 weeks?

It sounds like the issue isn't with the number of weeks. But with finding the difference between the 2 numbers.

If that's the case, you do it the same way you would with 52 weeks. Multiply the year by 52, add the weeks, do this for both numbers and subtract one from the other.

Yes its difference between the 2 numbers. It looks like Modular arithmetic but it isnt. I´ll try with Excel if i could not do it in Access. Im not sure how shall i define. Everyone has different idea
