Access 2007: how to make Memo content flow to next page

My report contains a memo field (Richtext) that I put in Detail Footer section.
    1. The report is based on a SELECT query
    2. No grouping
    3. I couldn't put it in Detail section or report footer section. I want the memo to be written after the calculated Total
    4. The report seems OK in ReportView, but in the PrintPreview, the memo is printed in Page 2, leaving Page 1 with a large blank area.

Is there a way to force the memo to be printed in Page 1 and the rest of the memo flows to Page 2? I found an answer for Memo textbox that is put in Detail section. But I couldn't find a way to make it work in Detail footer (or what do you name that footer?)

Had tried CanGrow for section and control, didn't help. Please help. Thanks...

    * This is the other discussion on making memo flows.

AS far as I know, memo fields cannot be set to flow from one page to another. This is one of the shortfalls of this data type in reports. Perhaps set your report so the entire record begins on a new page? This would at least provide a logical break for the report....

You are talking about the [Terms] field in the section "TableMaterials .ProjectNameIn Table Footer"
Note that you have the calculated field =[SumOverGroup]; thus you do have grouping despite what you have indicated in bullet-list #2.
Goto your properties for this section
      "TableMaterials .ProjectNameIn Table Footer"
(open the properties dialog, use the dropdown list (^_^) )
      [All tab]
      [Can Grow] = Yes
      [Can Shrink] = Yes
      [Keep Together] = NO

Goto the properties for your control
      [All tab]
      [Can Grow] = Yes
      [Can Shrink] = Yes

      Let us know what happens.

Sorry for the late reply... I think I had done all that and didn't help. Thanks anyway.

Hi Eddie, no worries about the the timing... we all do the best we can (^_^)

Please go back a try the settings as I've suggested.
Been a very great number of times that I've thought I've performed some point in trouble shooting and never actually completed the step... it's an easy thing to do/happen with how busy our lives can be.
