How to make a Calendar form in Microsoft access 2007

    Hi all

I'm new to access, and i'm trying to build a form it should be in a calender format.

I have found on the internet a few such forms but i want to make one my self and link it to my full database (which is now in a table).

Is there a simple way to do it (such as a control in the design tab, and changing some property fields) or i will need VBA coding?

    Thanks in advance!

You would need bucket-loads of VBA as well as much more. For a clue as to how complex a calendar form is likely to be have a look at MS Access Calendar. I couldn't possibly recommend such a project for a beginner, or even someone with an ordinary level of experience.

Thanks a lot for your reply NeoPa,

so my second question will be if I can bring in the data in the outlook calendar,

I have made a Expert in access to a text file and then an import in outlook, but outlook wasn't able to read the data,

      Is exporting complicated too?

        Which version of ACC?
Acc2010 has the external data, outlook, which is the most straight forward method, provided you have outlook installed.

I think you're going into the realm of VBA.
            Ribbon>External Data>More>outlo ok datafiles

You will need to start a new thread if you want to cover indepth Automation of Access to Outlook etc...

TBMK: You can not easily use the Access Calendar form within Access 2007 if that is what you are getting at.

To design the form yourself, as Neopa has linked you to, requires a lot of ground work designing and placeing the controls and handling the data.=

I'm afraid we don't do multiple questions in the same thread.

If you have a further question then you are encouraged to ask it, and we'll be happy to look at it for you, but in its own thread please.
