Excel to Access Query returns duplicate values

Hi,

I have set up a query in MS Access which returns a table comprising unique values (I've checked this is the case). When I create a link to the query from Excel and import the data I get duplicae values sometmes the entries are duplicated 3 or 4 times. I've been going round in circles trying to resolve this problem but can find no logical solution....

Has anyone come across the same issue?? Is there a simple solution that I'm just too thick to see?

How are you linking to the Query from Excel? When you run the query by itself, do you ever get any duplicates? Is Excel duplicating the same records every time it imports, or is it apparently random? What have you tried so far and what does your code look like?

I have not come across this issue, but I have no idea what your issue is at this point.... There may be a very simple explanation, but we have nothing to go on.

Please provide additional information so we know how to help you troubleshoot.

was having a bad day.... eventually found the fault, it was a basic fault in the in the MS Access Query itself.
