    Show/hide a record based on the selection of another.

    I have a table called "carry over items" that contains active action items that are gathered during meeting minutes. When these items have been completed i want to select "complete" from a combo box in the same form called in a column called "status" and hide the record so that we only focus on tasks left to do. Someone please help.

    You've pretty well already described what you need to do.
    1. Start with a form that has a control for [Completed] (or similar name).
    2. Ensure the form filters on "Not [Completed]".
    3. Bingo. All done. Once you save the record with Completed set to True the record disappears from the form.
