    Crosstab query with multiple columns

I have a crosstab query which has row heading as dates, column heading as staff names. But I need to show one more column for the staff with daily schedule based on a grouping on part of the date ( date separated as 4 time columns). How to do that? Please advise how to achieve this

    rajeevs,
You can have only one column heading in a crosstab. You can, however, have multiple row headings. I think your best bet is to combine the part of the date you need with the staff name, something like
    Code:
    Staff:[timecolumn] & [Staff Name]
and call that your column heading.

Before you give up on this, you should read thru Allen Browne's tutorial on CTQ: Crosstab query techniques
PLEASE, work thru the entire tutorial before dropping into the multiple datasets aspect. The understanding gained from the first sections will be most worth your time.

One thing to keep in mind... CTQ are not directly editable within Access!
