fill data series in MS Access 2010

Hello,

I have a continues form, which contains Items, for example my items are like this: B-1,B-2,B-3....etc, i want when i entered B-1 in the first row, automatically write input B-2, B-3 in the second and third row, so i don't need to enter the items again and again.

I hope someone help me how to do this in ms access.

i don't want to use auto number, because for each customer i have different items, some start with A, some other with B anc C

However, to help provide something specfic for your situation, we'll need a little more information such as:

What version of Access are you using?

How are you entering the data?

Does the squence need to start over and if so under what criteria?

The more detail you provide the better.

The basic method is to create a query that uses the dmax() to return the highest number last used and add one.
