    In a report, how do I get the averages of each group?

    In my report, I have groups. I would like to get the averages for certain fields for each group. For example, in my report, I have a grouping on the Loan Processor field. I want the average time it takes each processor to complete their loans. I have the number of days each loan took already in a field.

    I have an average of all records in the Report Footer using =Avg(Stage1), I just need the average for each Loan Processor. I found some information online that mentioned something about Group footers, but my report doesn't have any footers except for the Page and Report footers and I can't find a place to turn on or off group footers.

    Are you using 2007? Right click the report in design view and click on grouping and sorting. All the options are there.

      Access 2010. I just have to click on More> to get it to expand and show the option to have a group footer. So do I just use the same Avg() function in the group footer?
