Thanks for posting Crystal. Feel free to keep this thread updated with any new features you develop. -
hi Adrian,
thanks for posting. I'm here now (smile). The link you provided is still good and has a lot of information on how to learn more about what the Analyzer stores so it can benefit you even more. There is also an Access 2000 version to download for MDB users, but it doesn't have near the features of the latest and greatest version, which is an ACCDB.
The current public version, which is still free of course, is on GitHub.
The Analyzer, which runs in Microsoft Access, documents databases, is menu-driven, easy to use, and generates valuable information for developers and users with databases such as Access, and anythi...
There are more than 50 reports and all the data is readable, as is the code.
I am currently working on an extensive data dictionary report to Word which will go into the next release. Also in the next release will be documenting macro content -- standalone & embedded, and data macros.
The Analyzer is a developer tool ... and nice for anyone who uses Access since it has menus so you can just run it and look at reports too.
respectfully,
crystal

Feel free to comment if you find out Z. My experience with the built-in analysis (which has been available for many versions in one way or another) is that it is pretty unreliable and doesn't include everything it should. I can't quote chapter end verse but there are articles and threads out there which discuss it, as I found out some while ago when I almost started something similar from scratch myself.Leave a comment:

Also in V2010 under the database tools there is a similar tool. Would be interesting to do a compare/contrast between the two.Leave a comment:
