My customer wants to see the records updated in the last 30 days to change color on his report. There is no update date field in report. Can this be done?

This is possible
Which version of Access are you using?
Conditional Formatting of Reports MS Access 2010 -
NeoPa has a very valid point and one I am remiss in not mentioning.
With that said however, without an understanding of your DB it may be a bit premature to discount the possibility of the highlighted records just because one table is missing an "update*" field. You may have an audit table or something that is linked, altered, or created whenever a record is updated that has such a time stamp... you will have to take a very careful look at the skeleton of your data to see what is available to test against.Comment
