Access is splitting a row in report to two pages

    Hi

I have a Access report which runs nicely on Office 2003, but after update to Office 2010 the report sometimes splits the last line on page to two pages (upper part of letters are in page n and lower parts of letters are on page n+1), the page footer and page header are ok (it means that on page n I have half of data-line + page footer, on page n+1 I have page header + lower part of the data line).
The report contains grouping and there are part where 'keep together' is set on some levels of grouping, but not on all levelss.

So, to recap, some things have some things set but some others don't. I'm pretty sure anyone attempting to help you will require the understanding of what you have, and which items are set which way.

      Details on the problem

      Hi

Enclosed attachment shows the output problem.

      Here more details:

Problem occurs in a subreport, which has following properties:
      -Keep together: Per page
      -Display: Always
      -Can grow: Yes
      -Can shrink: Yes
      -Page header and footer: No
      Subreport's detail section has properties:
      -Keep together: Yes
      -Display: Always
      -Can grow: Yes
      -Can shrink: Yes
This subreport contains one row of data (5 text boxes, top aligned, same height) and a secondary subreport below the rata-row, and the rata-row is the one splitted into two pages.

Page header and footer are defined in the main report.

I am surprised with this, since I have newer seen a row to be splitted into two pages, I have had my problems earlier with these 'keep together' sections.

Also the new Top/Bottom/Left/Right Paddings of controls with a non-zero default value change the layout of reports from Office 2003 to Office 2010, has anyone a hint how to set the default to 0, which seems to set things similiar as they were in Office 2003.

My Access version is 14.0.6024.1000 SP1, 32-bit running on Windows 7, but the same appears also on XP with this same Access-version.

      Hope somebody has ideas.

Hello JasuTheFinn, I've got the same Problem and no solution. I wonder if you have got one meanwhile and if yes, can you please post it?

          Hi
I never found the solution, as workaround we used To adjust the bottom mariginals at printing phase when we faced this problem (luckyly very seldom)

I had the same problem when upgrading from 2007 to 2010. I re-saved each subreport and that seemed to do the trick. Not sure why.
