How to enable the "Clear filter from Contributor" option that is grayed out?

In form, when right click on the dropdown table, the option "Clear filter from Contributor' is greyed out. Why? How can I enable it?

It is probably Grayed Out becuase there is no Active Filter in place. Once a Filter is applied, it should then become Enabled.
