Can I set up a linked table in access to a sql view?

the database I am using (did not create it) has some kind of link to a view using a linked table but I cannot figure out how the programmer set this up...

When I go in to set up a new linked tab. all's I see are the tables in the underlying sql db and not the views..

Is there a way to do this?
