    Index not found with linked tables

    hi guys,

    I have a query with the following code

    Code:
    SELECT PROD.[Prod Desc]
    , PROD.Prod
    , BATCH.Pack
    , BATCH.[BatchNbr(In)]
    , PAL.PalNbr
    , PAL.LocnId
    , BATCH.BatchQty
    FROM (BATCH INNER JOIN PROD ON BATCH.Prod = PROD.Prod) INNER JOIN PAL ON BATCH.[BatchNbr(In)] = PAL.[BatchNbr(In)];
    The 3 tables above are all linked paradox tables, where they are linked to each other as coded. The problem comes when I tried to add filter criteria on all fields except the ones from table PROD. The only message it shows is "Index not found.". A bit earlier I had this error with BATCH.Prod in the SELECT clause, and it was solved by changing it to PROD.Prod as above.

    For example, I tried to add the following WHERE clause to the query, and it gives me the error.
    Code:
    WHERE BATCH.[BatchNbr(In)] = 'ABC123'
    Is there any ways I can solve the problem within this query? or I have to save it to a local table and refine it with another query? Many thanks.

    There may need to be Unique Indexes in the BATCH and PAL Paradox Tables.

      Do you mean only 1 PK in those tables? As the selected items, excluding PAL.LocnId and BATCH.BatchQty, all others are PKs and link together as well.
