Problems passing a parameter into a report query

I created a form "frmReportParms ", on this form I have created a combo box box which lists 'divisions'. I put code behind the 'after click' event on the combo box to move the value selected to a variable 'txtDivision'. I also have this variable defined on the form but invisible. The division column in my report query has '[Forms]![frm_Parm_PreEdi tRpt]![txtDivision]' as the criteria. When I run the report, I get a message box that prompts me for this value. When I enter a value manually, the query runs and report created. In my vba code right before my command "DoCmd.OpenRepo rt "rpt_Divisi on", acPreview", I can see that my variable 'txtDivision' has a value in it. Any idea of what I may be doing wrong. I have used this method on other reports to pass parms and it works fine.

figured this out myself.. no longer an issue. Is there a way to delete a post???
