How to use a Form dropdown list to activate fields in same form

Hi all, I am an Access 2007 newbie and I am stuck with a project I am doing for my local community club.
I have a table with all details of our members. Now I created a FORM which allows the easy entry of the data. But I would like to make it easier to switch between the records, so I added a DROP DOWN LIST with just First and SurNames. The idea is that if you select a name from the drop down list, then all the corresponding details appear in the same form on the left side for easy entry.
I have tried a number of things to achieve this but no luck. Please can you help? Thank you!

    Mark,

Try playing with Cascaded Form Filtering. You should find all you need there, and more.

Good luck and Welcome to Bytes!
