How to set table's field available for all records in a form.

    Hi there!
I have two tables, tblStudents and tblSubjects each student is supposed to take all subjects. On data entry, I want to enter the records for a given subject for all students but When I hit next to enter the records for next subject I want the students names to remain constant so that I shouldnt have to enter the same student name for next subjects.
I went around the webs but couldnt find any helpful info. Please help me!

    Let make it clear,
I have to design a form in which I can enter data of both tblStudents and tblSubjects, Logically I dont have to enter students names everytime I enter new Subjects records. I want the student names to remain there unless otherwise decided even I hit next for new subject`s Scores.
Please Please I am new to Access help me!!!!

Create a Parent Form (containing student detais)and a sub form ( subject details) Note: that tblstudents and tblsubjects should have 1:many realtionship.

If you're still confused attached your db here and I'll see what I can do for you. Am free this month.

        Thanks for your imediate response!
In this example I want every Student to have all subjects assigned to by default. ie All subjects should be displayed at the Subform for every Single student.
tblStudents has the fields as follows:
        StudID,
        StudFname,
        StudLname.
While tblModules has the following fields:
        ModID,
        ModName,
        ModCredit,
        StudID.
The relationship is between tblStudents.Stu dId=tblModules. StudID.
After creating a frmStudent(Main form) with frmModules(SubF orm) the following ocurs:
The records of tblStudent are displayed on the MainForm but the tblModules records are not.
What I want now from this design all Modules be assigned by default to all students so that I just hit next and enter the records for a given student at a given Modules
        How can go about it?
        Thanks in advance!

          Thanks Jerry!
I am now registered in this forum.
I have attached sample db with this post.
You can see that the records of tblStudents are displayed on the form by defaut but the records for tblModules (on the SubForm ) are not.
What I want here these Modules(SubForm ) be displayed automatically for every student selected on the MainForm.
How can I go about it?
          Thanks in advance!

Because of your requirments and the relationships, you just have to copy and paste the subjects/modules for each student like I did as a start off.

The subject you previously entered did not appear in the subform because you entred them directly without relating to the students thus leaving them unrelated/unlinked to students.

If it is compulsory for every student to take all the listed courses then it would not be necsaary for you to include all the the subjects. Instead you should have only the fields that you would enter beacuse obviously all cousers would be uniform throughtout.

                see attached File.

Thanks, this is one step towards the solution.
There might be otherways of aproaching this that might include VBA.
