    How to display AADMNV&QUAL..PS060D09.PP&PP.&CY.BU in a text box.

    AADMNV&QUAL..PS 060D09.PP&PP.&C Y.BU

    I thought to display the & I just needed to proceed it with an &, like this:
    AADMNV&&QUAL..P S060D09.PP&&PP. &&CY.BU

    However, that shows up as:
    AADMNV&QUAL..PS 060D09.PP&PP.&CY.BB (last character repeats proceeding character).

    Oh. MS Access 2003, SP3 (Corporate requirement to use this version)

    I'm not aware of this being a problem in a textbox as such. It is however a feature of a label.

    Using an ampersand in the caption property of a label assigns a shortcut key to the letter immediately following the ampersand, underlined in the text displayed.

    It is in a label that you would use two consecutive ampersands to display an ampersand in the label's caption: "&&Test" would display as &Test, whereas "&Test" would display as Test.

    Could you confirm that you are experiencing this behaviour with a text box, and not the label associated with a text box? As mentioned, I have not seen this occur with any textbox I've seen.

    If it is a label, as it is a deliberate feature for which there is no workaround that I'm aware of, I'd suggest simply using a textbox in place of the label, possibly set using the On Current event of the form concerned.
