change value in A given dublicate in B, C, D in access

hey. I wonder if anyone can help me with this one:

I want to change value 21 to 210 in colum A, given there is another row that has value 10 in colum A and in both rows values in colum B, C D are the same.

    Example rows:
    21 abc 2000 def
    10 abc 2000 def

    to
    210 abc 2000 def
    10 abc 2000 def

    thanks.

Put both tables in your query design window, draw lines between column B in table 1 and column B in table 2, same for C and D.

Put the column A of table 2, as a result field, and add a criteria (=10). Now change your query to an update query if it is not such allready, and add column A of table 1 to the results. In the update to, simply write 210, and your good to go.

Have you tried to put the same table twice in the query design window? I beleive TheSmileyOne plan would still work.
