Have created a form in MS Access. When I open the form I cannot edit or add records.

In access 2007, I created a query. I used the query and an additional table to create the form using Wizard. Yet, when I open the form, I am unable to edit existing records or add new records. I did this quite often in Access 2003, but cannot seem to make it work in 2007. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

    Solution/

Is the Query based on the table? You can't edit if they are not related as you won't be working on one record from one record set. Please post more info on the components of the query and the table.

    Regards,
    Ali

Actually, I gave up. I saved the data base as a 2003, went to my old computer that still had verson 2003 on it, created the form I needed, and then came back to 2007, and it works fine. Just a real pain to do. I will take a look at your comments and see if I commited a relationship violation
