Reguarding Data Base opened in Exclusive mode

The problem is that i had a database opened in exclusive mode and i created a User DSN to allow external application to access my DataBase.....

Now this process works fine if i open my database in eclusive mode..... the DSN work perfectly and i get my data through other application

but the problem occured i run my application in single user mode i.e. in exclusive mode the the DSN retuns an error the data base is opened by some other user...

so i want to know that is there any way to access a database opened in exclusive mode through User DSN....

Exclusive Access is not an appropriate mode in which to open an Access database. It is not possible to share access with any other user to a database opened exclusively.

The database really should be set to shared and not exclusive if the likelihood is that more than one user is to access it on occasion. It is the only way you can resolve the lock-out which is occurring.
