Do references add in VBA compile when you create a .mde?

    Hi everybody,

This question is more for confirmation than anything else, primarily because I can't test it out on other machines on our network this weekend.

I decided to download Redemption and play around with the features and while doing so I started to wonder whether or not the code that I write would work on machines that don't have the Redemption .dll on the machine after I compile the database as a .mde file.

Does anyone know if the references will be included? I've referenced other things, like the Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library and the Outlook 11.0 Object Library, without complaints, but I'm guessing that this hasn't been an issue because those object libraries get installed by default with Microsoft Office.

    Thanks,

AFIK, making an MDE file does not "include" Reference Libraries. An MDE file can suffer missing References just as an MDB file can. Whether shipped with Office/Access or not, References Livraries must be installed on any copy of Access being used to run a database that utilizes them.
