    Ms access data base security

Hi, kindly guide me on how to solve this security problem. i set a passord to the data base and seems to work well. but since several people use the data base and know the passord, i think its risky. infact because i cant hide tables or data base forms using these option.

    2. i decided to use user level security wizard and it looked like the best solution untill i copied the data base to another machine and opened it. the data base opened without asking for passord and i could access all tables and forms.too risky! kindly can someone help me with best solution for this?

my second question goes to whoever can assist me with replicating the data base on several machines in different departments. its because i dont want to centralize it but keep information synchronized across.
    i,m using ms access 2003.regards.

User level security is stored in a separate mdw file, not in mdb. You need to copy both files to a different PC.
