Report behaving differently as a sub report

    Hello People,

I have a main report containing 3 subreports fed by 3 queries in access 2003. All worked fine until recently when one of the subreports wouldn't print out. I found that for that month there was no data coming from its query (as no records matched). If I output the report on its own I would get the headers, 1 blank data line and the footers. I used the HasData property to set the contents of the data to 0 or null. This outputs ok on its own but when using it as a subreport all of it is missing (I get a blank page). Anyone know why this is happening?

    hi,
you need to use iif and Nz functions in your calculation fields
    to handle the null values

I used iif and hasData to produce psuedo output in the fields... as I said it prints out fine as a stand alone report, it just doesnt when used as a subreport

        ok
open the query design window and open join properties window by clicking the relationship between the tables that the data come from and check the second option
