I am new to access, I had someone create a program(convent ion registration) in access that allows me to keep registrants, their data within the database and the program works wonderfully. Unfortunately, my friend passed away and I would like to copy entire program from my desktop to my laptop and I would also like to create a new year, I have all the registrants from 2007-2009, whenever a previously registered individual registers for the next year I can access his information from the previous year all I have to dois add his current payment method. Any new registrant I have to fill in all the fields in order to enter them in the database. I also have a tab for each year I need to create a tab for 2010 with the appropriate fields.
I need Access help

As far as copying the program goes, this should be as simple as copying the database file (MDB) so that it is accessible from the other PC. It does depend on all the relevant software being available of course (The correct version of Access would be a most obvious example).
As far as helping with the database design is concerned, that would not be easy unless you described the current situation far more precisely. Even then I couldn't be certain that it's something that would lend itself to guidance from across a web page, but it's probably worth a try.
