How can I edit the code when I get a "Project Locked/ Project is unviewable"?

I am trying to open a database to see the Visual Basic Editor to look at some code. When I open the editor, I see the modules, forms, reports. When I click to open one I get a dialog box that says
    Project Locked
    Project is unviewable

How do I take that off, or how do I get in?

    Thanks

That depends on what is causing the lock. Are you prompted for a password anywhere?

I am not prompted for one.

I can't think what it may be if it doesn't have a password. Even a R/O file just stops you from saving changes.

I assume it is a .MDB file rather than an MDE or other such file yes?

Now that you ask that, I have not seen this before. I have a shortcut on my desktop. It ties with a .ini file which opens a RUNMDE file.

If it's an MDE file (or A2007 equivalent) then there is no code to edit. Only the programmed objects are stored. The original code is dropped from such files.
