append queries in a Form

I need to put an append query in a form. How is this possible?

I want to run an existing append query from a form.

Edit the form
Add a command button control to the form
in the button wizard that pops up
----select the miscellaneous category
----select the run query action
----click next
----select the query you want it to run
----click next
----choose either text or picture
----click next
----Give the button a name
----click finish


now whenever you click the button the append query will run
