I don't understand your 2nd question but the first is as simple as selecting the Line tool from the Toolbox and then dragging it to your specified length.

Can you explain the 2nd part more clearly please?

Select the field (textbox, label, whatever) and then just use the Align buttons from the toolbar (Align Left, Center, Align Right)?

Hi Yogs. Access has no built-in-means of justifying text. At least for versions before A2007 it does not even use rich text format for emboldening words within phrases, for example, (although rich text ActiveX controls are available if you need this facility).

You would really need to export the data to Word and use its comprehensive facilities to do what you want, or use Word as a linked OLE object to perform the text editing/justification.

If by 'justifying' you mean to space the letters out evenly go to Properties and under Text Alignment select Distribute.

Ye i have realized that there is no such built in means of justifying text like in word. thanks though.
I tried the ditribute option in align buts not really good as its distributing the numbers also which looks odd. thanks
