Data is encrypted

I have an access database, whose data is encrypted (I think so).
When I open it, The data comes in sign format.
I really need that data. can any one help.

Below is the example of a statement that appears as sign language.

I am totally confused, pls help.

If u know how to do it, I can send u the whole file,

First off, please do not give your email address in posts! This violates the rules of this forum. All questions posted here are answered on the forum so that others may benefit as well as the original poster.

Secondly, what exactly do you mean by sign language? This is not an Access term, or to my knowledge, a term used in programming in general.

Lastly, where did this database come from? Is this an app that you developed and is now misbehaving? Or is this a database you're trying to access? If the data is, indeed, encrypted, then anyone with authority access it should know how to decrypt it.

First of all I am sorry for posting my email ID, I wasnt aware of the rules.

This is a data base made by my friend, but due to some reasons he is out of country and wont be returning very soon.

I want to use this database in my software, but I cannot see the data that this database contains.

Any idea how I can see the data of this database.
My friend made it in English, but the data I see is not any language, it just appears as all numbers and symbols.

Can u help me.I am new in access database operating.
