    mde file

    Hi,
I have mde file which contains a lot of date stored into it, I need to make design changes in forms and I need to design some new reports.
I knew that I have to make this designs in the mdb file. I think that's right because I can't make changes or modify any object in the mde file I convinced. and I will make the design in the mdb file
the first question is how to move the data that previously stored in the old mde file into the design-modified mde file.
the second question is how can I compeletly hide the built-in toolbars from being viewed in the mde file and pervent the user from viewing it and create custom toolbars to be viewed
    thanks

    Question 1
    1) Backup your MDB

    2) Delete all the tables in it.

    3) Open your MDB file, Select "File","Get External Data", "Import, " then find your MDE, and simply import all the tables.

    4) You will likely have to reset table relations.

    Question 2
When your ready to make your MDE, click "Tools", "Startup", then unselect every checkbox, and then make your MDE. This leaves only 1 toolbar left, which I don't know how to get rid off. Sorry.

I don't mean how to backup mdb file but the data stored in mde file after editing the forms and reports in mdb file and convert it to mde file once again.
      thanks

As Smiley said, you can import the tables from an MDE file into your MDB file,. Just follow his instructions.
