    Formatting in MS Access Reports

I have created a report where I have following items
    Grant type - text box
    SumOfActivity - text box

What I want to do is conditionally format to "Bold" grant type Public (this I can do through the conditional formatting tab

"Field Value is equal to Public"

The issue I have is I am unable to format the SumOf Activity to Bold

It is linked to the Grant Type but I am unable to get the formula right - any help would be great

    Thanks

Your question isn't awfully clear, I'm afraid. Are you saying if Grant type is "Public" you also want SumOfActivity in bold? If so, in Conditional Formatting use

    Expression is

    then

    [Grant type] = "Public"

then click on the Bold icon.

        Thanks Linq

I have been able to make GrantType ="Public" bold but my problem is the SumOfActivity field does not bold. The SumOfActivity is linked to GrantType but conditionally formating the GrantType does not make all fields Bold

        Any further advice?

        Thanks
        Clinton

Have you set the conditional formatting for [SumOfActivity] as suggested in Linq's post. I cannot see why that would fail for you.
