    Weird form behavior

I have a switchboard, which maximises upon loading. In the form DETAIL section, I have embedded a picture, so when the form opens and maximises, the picture is the background.

The picture is 1024 x 768 pixles, and my monitor size is also the same size. so when the form maximises, the picture fits the monitor screen perfectly.

Everything has been working fine, but recently sometimes after the program has been open for a while, suddenly the picture moves from its original position to another point in the screen, and almost half of the picture is not shown. So I have to close Microsoft Access, and re-open the database, so that the switchboard form re-opens and the picture fits the screen again.

    Anyone has any idea? :(

I'm afraid I know of no reason why that might happen.

Leave the question here in case any others have had similar experiences, but may I suggest you post which version of Access you're using.

      Information

      Dear Neo Pa,

      Thank you for your reply.

      I am using Access 2003.

The only thing that has changed in my database recently (after which this weird problem has started to occur) is that I have deleted some tables, and used external tables from another database (I made a front-end and back-end version and everything works fine, except this thing).

The problem might somehow be related to exchange of information on my network between the front-end and the back-end version of my database.

Still can't help directly I'm afraid, but if your BE database is not on a fairly fast link (and is still in Access) that is often the cause of unpredictable errors.
